With over 16 years’ experience as a successful entrepreneur in the evolution of the Internet, Peter R. Brady has earned his reputation as an innovator. Having incubated and sold several successful ASP (Application Service Provider-the precursor to Cloud) model businesses, Peter is uniquely positioned to be an unbiased resource on achieving sustainable competitive advantages through the adoption of cloud computing.
Peter and the original founders of Internet Management Specialists (IMS) formed Anvil Cloud Consultants, and were selected to represent OrangeScape’s interests in the United States.
A “SBA Business Person of the Year” winner, Peter has a history of leading-edge thinking. Known for turning solid ideas into action, he launched IMS and developed a Software-as-a-service application for international floral supply chain management that he sold to Teleflora, providing a successful exit for his business partners. Prior to this, he founded Brady Sunrooms before sunrooms were a household concept. He built the premiere brand on the market, revolutionized the industry, and eliminated the dealer model by conceiving pre-built sunrooms that could be installed in one day. At the peak of this business, Peter closed venture capital funding and oversaw two manufacturing plants, five stores, and 150 employees.
Peter Thomann
Founding Partner
CIO
peter.thomann@anvilcloudconsultants.com
Peter Thomann has established himself as a trusted Cloud computing advisor to North American CIOs. Anvil Cloud and its enterprise clients and partners rely on Peter’s insights gained from his 18 years’ software development and technology consulting experience. In his current role he collaborates with professional services and development teams to select and implement Cloud technology, bridge legacy technology, and become trained and certified in OrangeScape.
At Anvil Cloud, Peter reunited with the founding team of Internet Management Specialists, where he spearheaded the technology that transformed the international floral supply chain and was acquired by Teleflora. The longevity and cohesiveness of the solutions he architects can be attributed to a drive to do things the way they should be done instead of the easy way. He has a strong reputation for objectively developing durable solutions that holistically address business needs and problems rather than being wedded to the latest technology.
